We are sad to announce that, on April 15, 2026, at the age of 75, William Gibbs Jr. of Columbia, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As William departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though William may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy William leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William James Gibbs Sr. and Jacqueline Selby Gibbs; and his brother Wayne Steven Gibbs. He is survived by: his siblings, Barry N. Gibbs (Ellen) of Columbia, Nicholas W. Gibbs (Cindy) of Dover and Karen G. James (Delmas) of Virginia Beach, VA. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
