He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Raymond and Gladys Schiffer Cornelius. He is survived by: his wife Gail Cornelius; his children, Diane Jacob (Chris) and Brian Cornelius (Sherry); his sister Gail Cheslock; his sister-in-law Nancy O'Brien; his cousin Linda Gary; his grandchildren, Dylan Jacob, Marisa Cornelius, Sean Cornelius and Kallie Cornelius; his great grandchild Evelyn Cornelius; and his nieces and nephews, John Cheslock, Angie Martin, Kirk O'Brien, Craig O'Brien, Coleen Fitzgerald and Kara Cox.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society, Autism Speaks, or the Dementia Society of America—causes close to Dave's heart.
