We bid farewell to Dorothy Schwobel of Columbus, North Carolina, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 3, 2025 at the age of 93. Dorothy touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. In the vast expanse of eternity, Dorothy shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Dorothy farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Schwobel and Alice Schwobel; and her sister Ethel W. Piper (John). She is survived by: her sibling's children, Jeffrey Piper (Magda), Graham Piper (Christine) and Karen Boggan (Michael).
A masonic service will be held on Saturday, January 17th 2026 at 1:00 PM at 617 Laurel Lake Dr, Columbus, NC 28722.
