With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Johnny Howard Witt of Columbus, North Carolina, who passed away on May 5, 2026 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnny Ralph and Mae Masoner Witt; and his sister Mildred "Beck" Frazier. He is survived by: his wife Teresa Johnson Taylor-Witt; his children, Krystal Hughes (Chris) of Simpsonville, SC, Brandi Witt of Roopville, GA and LJ Witt (Chrystal) of Seneca, SC.; his grandsons, Donavon Wall, Colby Scarlett and Hughes; his stepchildren, Darrell Taylor (Natalie), Liza Owens West and Graham Owens; his stepgrandchildren, Paige, Ian and Emma Taylor; his sister Audrey Pope (Mike) of Morristown, TN; his brother-in-law Ruben "Buck" Frazier of Fort White, FL; and his niece Tonya Bibb (Jimmy). He is also survived by three great-grandsons.
