She was predeceased by: her parents, Odez Taylor and Vivian Taylor. She is survived by: her husband Grady Smith; her stepson Ernie Smith (Paula); her grandchildren, Michael Smith, Austin Smith, Hanna L. Smith and Eiljah Smith; her stepgrandchildren, Stephanie Cleary (David), Kaleb Pruitt and Kane Pruitt (Brooke); and her basset Betty Lou. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM at the Melvin Hill Covenant Brethren Church (525 Melvin Hill Rd, Columbus, NC 28722). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at the Melvin Hill Covenant Brethren Church Cemetery (525 Melvin Hill Rd, Columbus, NC 28722).
