It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marion Underwood of Columbus, North Carolina, born in Tryon, North Carolina, who passed away on May 8, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by : his wife Rachel Owens Underwood; his son Derek Underwood of Tryon; his grandson Chase Underwood; his great grandchild Evelyn Ann Underwood; and his sister Frances Waldrop of Columbus.
