Mary Ellen Williams Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Ellen Williams of Columbus, North Carolina, who passed away on December 9, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Todd and Rutha Todd; her son Richard Williams; her siblings, H. B. Todd (Esther) and Muriel Miller (Robert); and her sister-in-law Doris Todd.
She is survived by: her husband Harold Kenneth Williams; her sons, Tod Williams (Donna) and Mark Williams (Suzanne); her grandchildren, Ken Williams, Worth Williams (Haley), Ellen Klenow (Nolan), Hannah Williams and Lauren Williams; her great grandchildren, Worth Williams, Jr., Wells Williams and Beckett Klenow; her brothers, Elton Todd (Mary Ellen) and David Todd (Shirley); and her sister-in-law Brenda Carter. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, for whom she was a favorite aunt.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Lebanon Methodist Church (9237 James B White Hwy S, Whiteville, NC 28472). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In Lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Lebanon Methodist Church in the honor.
