With sadness, we share the passing of Robert John Jr. (Columbus, North Carolina). Robert, born on October 4, 1941, passed away on June 5, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Landis John Sr. and Elizabeth "Betty" John (Barraclough); and the mother of his children Nancy Mitchell John. He is survived by: his wife Jill John; his stepchildren, Julie Jackson and Laurel Hecht; his children, Rob John (Kate), Julie French (Bill) and Dave John (Maria); his sister Cathy John; his brother-in-law Lawrence Connor; his niece Beth Northrup; his nephew Andrew Connor; and his grandchildren, Nicole French, Julian John, Mitchell French, Brandon French, Marcus John, Calvin John and Wesley John. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
