He was predeceased by: his parents, John Henry and Fannie Ross Lindsey; and his siblings, John Lindsey, George Lindsey and Susan "Cindy" Shehan.
He is survived by: his wife Susie Lindsey of Columbus, NC; his children, David Lindsey (Stephanie) of New Hampshire, Laura Weicker (Jim) of Columbus, NC, Tammy Jolley of Duncan, SC and William Perry Lindsey of Mill Spring, NC; and his sisters, Lillie Plumley and Linda Gilbert.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Polk Memorial Gardens (700 W Mills St, Columbus, NC 28722).
