With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Cynthia Gore Nichols of Como, North Carolina, born in Newport News, Virginia, who passed away on June 11, 2022 at the age of 59. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Carlton Bruce "Sonny" Young, Jr. and Margie Marie Hassell Young; and her former life partner Harold S. Gore. She is survived by : her husband Frank Duane Nichols; her daughters, Jennifer Futrell and Ashley Eure (Tony); her brother C. Bruce Young, III; and her grandchildren, Trinity Eure and Londyn Futrell.
