He was predeceased by: his parents, Wallace Johnson and Jennie Edla Koskela Johnson; his former wife Royce Darlene Johnson; his daughter Rochelle Johnson; and his brother Melvin Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Carole Elizabeth Johnson of Concord, NC; his children, Brandon Johnson (Katrina) of Nashville, IN and Robyn Roller (Randy) of Indianapolis, IN; his stepchildren, Dawn Shannon (Mark) of Charlotte, NC and Craig Wagner (Tammi) of Greenwood, IN; his grandchildren, Ethan Johnson, Rachel Valastek (Kal), Ryan Roller (Lauren), Rhea Watson (Zach) and Renee Rackley (Clay); and his stepgrandchildren, Sean, Nate, Jeff Wagner and Ellie Mow. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
