She is survived by: her children, Emily Edmond Freeman (Robert), Martha Edmond Hagood and John Kennedy Edmond, Sr. (Avis) of Concord; her sisters, Sadie Mae Torrence of Concord and Teresa Torrence-Tillman of Petaluma; her cousin Samuel A. Brockman of Concord; her grandchildren, Santoria A. Edmond, Casey H. Townsend (Natalie), Robert M. Freeman II, Odell Herman Edmond, Jr., Erika C. Edmond, John K. Edmond, Jr., London E. C. Freeman, Jalin Edmond, Consuella Kimble and Christian Swinton of Winston-Salem; and her great grandchildren, Jatyrus Edmond, Uniqua Edmond, Mason Townsend, Kai Townsend, T. White (Arian), Darius White, Jayanna White, Malik White, Cameron Kirkland, Sean Kirkland and Jordan Woods.
