It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of April Ann Zsambeky of Concord, North Carolina, born in Lithia Springs, Georgia, who passed away on September 8, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Boggus Turner and Mark Turner; her siblings, June Anderson, Howard Ellison and George Ellison; and her husband John Sebastian Zsambeky.
She is survived by: her close friend Mary Ruth Hooper of King, NC; her children, April Di Anne Richee (Bill) of Winston Salem, Jennifer Yelverton (Jason) of Maple Valley, Washington, Debbie McKewen (Lee) of Carrollton, GA and Dr. Jonathan Turner Zsambeky (Ginger) of Concord; her grandchildren, Tracie Beal, Jaclyn Honaker, Amber Meraz, Turner Zsambeky and Leah Catherine Zsambeky; her great grandchildren, Logan Williams, Ciera Williams, Lena Grace Honaker and Zoey Meraz; her great great grandchildren, Lilly Williams and Eden Williams; and her nieces, Carol Hart and Annette Lashley. She is also survived by her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
