She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Forney and Leander Robinson Forney; her husband John Arthur Davidson, Sr.; her son Theodore Davidson; and her siblings, Alexander Forney, Baxter Forney, Sandra McClean and Bernita Forney.

She is survived by: her children, John Davidson, Sr., Richard Davidson (Ruth) and Yvette Butler (Edwin); her siblings, Valerie Graham (Gene) of Cornelius, Ricky Forney (Carolyn) of Mooresville and Elliot Forney (Linda) of Stony Point, NC; her aunt Carolina Forney; her siblings-in-law, Benjamin McClean and Etta Forney; her niece Crystal Forney; and her grandchildren, Contonya Butler and Jayden Smith. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
