She was predeceased by: her father Joseph J. Kach; and her husband David C. Hoffman. She is survived by: her mother Rosemarie Burda Kach; her children, Charles "Chaz" Braxmeier (Nikki) of China Grove and Andrea "Drea" Braxmeier (Ian Hartman-O'Connell) of Kensington, Maryland; her grandsons, Noah and Aidan O'Connell; and her siblings, JoAnn Knerr (Jim) of Emmaus, Lori Bilous (Paul) of Catasauqua, Stephen Kach (Kathleen) of Bethlehem and Jay Kach (Suzy) of St. Simons Island, Georgia. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM and on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM. A Mass will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. James Catholic Church (139 Manor Ave SW, Concord, NC 28025). A reception will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 12:15 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. James the Greater Catholic Church (https://www.wesharegiving.org) or Atrium Health Hospice & Palliative Care Cabarrus.
