It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Lucile Posey (Concord, North Carolina), who passed away on December 12, 2025, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Curtis Rigdon and Mittie Inez Rigdon (Osteen); her sisters, Thelma Rigdon and Bobbie Rigdon; her son Broadus Charles Posey; her grandson David Posey; and her great grandchild Baby Elijah Eastridge.
She is survived by: her children, Ronald Posey, Gary Posey, Sharon Eastridge (Bill), Gail Akins (Dan) and Rickey Posey; her grandchildren, Laura Spurrier (Blake), Michael Eastridge (Leslie), Matthew Eastridge (Meredith), Steven Akins, Chris Posey (Donni), Philip Posey, Jeremy Posey (Peyton), Stephanie Freeman (Jesse), Jennifer Flake and Olivia Lambert (Markus); her great grandchildren, Victoria Chandler Posey, Alexis Akins, Trevor Brewer, Aidan Freeman, Kiersten Flake, Dylan Freeman, Sloane Eastridge, Kinley Akins, Levi Eastridge, Skylar Eastridge, Kristen Akins, Ainsley Lambert, Caleb Eastridge, Knox Lambert, Ryleigh Eastridge and Evelyn Posey; and her sisters, Joanne Hunt and Patsy Keller.
