With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bonnie Hawks of Concord, North Carolina, who passed away on March 26, 2022 at the age of 60. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her sister Cynthia Abernathy Burgess Smith; her uncle Roy Lee Abernathy; and her grandparents, Charles, Mary Abernathy, Edwin Ralph and Hazel Malcolm.
She is survived by: her husband John Paul Hawks; her sons, Michael Paul Hawks of Concord, NC and Eric James Hawks of Concord, NC; her pet Penny; her parents, William David and Iris Abernathy of Davidson, NC; and her siblings, Rebecca Abernathy (Becky) of Davidson, NC and William David Abernathy Jr. (Billy). She is also survived by many loving cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
