He is survived by: his wife Adeline Thorne-James; his children, Laquisha James, Ross James and Brent James; his stepchildren, Torrey Thorne (Krystal), Octavia Burney (Joshua), Monalethia, Rolanda (Donald), Lesa and Sherry (Frederick); his siblings, Lennette James, Diane James Clash and Keith James; his grandchildren, Mya Walton, Se'lina Walton, Dejah Seymour, Isabella Burney, Katorreya Thorne, Toriyana, Sinphiny Thorne, Daqwon Thorne, TaDarius Seymour, Nicholas Edwards, Joshua Burney, Torrey Jr., Chianti Thorne, Alaya James, Phoenix Rose James and Jessie James; his great grandchildren, Alena Walton, Saidyne, Tokeyo and Carter Thorne; his nieces, Natalia Clash and Deja Gough; his great-nephew Audie "Cash" Mickens; his friends, Puggy, Regina Green, Alfonso Green, Chucky, Rose, Pasha and Bishop; his close friend Scottie; his cousin Lamont; and his aunt Carol.
