She was predeceased by: her parents, Althea Carson and Cornelius Cherry; and her brother David. She is survived by: her siblings, Aletha, Benjamin and Neil; and her siblings' children, Avery, Vaughn, Malik, Monique, Michael David and BreAnna. She is also survived by niece and nephew, and countless cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Camelia's Beloved Church (59 Chestnut Dr SW, Concord, NC 28025). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
The family greatly appreciates flowers and asks that donations be made in Camelia's name to First Missionary Baptist Church's scholarship fund.
