He was predeceased by: his parents, Pink Caldwell Whitesides and Della Mae Lanier Whitesides; and his wife Norma Lynn Whitesides. He is survived by: his children, Jerry Whitesides of Rockwell, Wendy W. Frame (Troy) of Missouri and Jamie Whitesides (Michelle) of Albemarle; his grandchildren, John Whitesides, Brandon Cochrane, Christian Cochrane, Ryan Frame, Colton Frame and Layton Frame; his stepchildren, Kit Dayvault, Matt Cagle and Janet Burr; and his stepgrandchildren, Ashley Johnson Burgess, Joshua Johnson, Johnathan Johnson, Kimberly Cagle, Jamie Burr and Travis Trexler. He is also survived by two great-grandchildren; and five step-great-grandchildren.
