She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Irvin Mitchell and Bertha Mae McLester Mitchell; her husband Adam Boyce Griffin; and her brothers, James Ray and Irvin Hardy.
She is survived by: her children, Melissa Leatherman (Greg), Lanney Griffin (Tammy) and Lynette Kunder (Tommy); her grandchildren, Chad Britt (Marilyn), Erica Brown, Ted Hall, Daniel Griffin (Katie), Dillon Griffin (Brandi), Josh Worthington (Jennifer), Greyson Daniels, Maxwell Kunder, Kaitlyn Kunder and Ashelyn Kunder; and her great grandchildren, Mathhew Britt, Emily Britt, Presley Hall, Adelyn Griffin, Clay Griffin, Avery Griffin and Weston Griffin.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:45 PM at the Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord (460 Branchview Dr NE, Concord, NC 28025). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
