She was predeceased by: her parents, Hicks Ward and Dot Ward. She is survived by: her husband Charles Therrell; her daughters, Emily Byers, Jill Beaver (Brent) and Sarah Riska (Brandon); her grandchildren, Javi Murdock, Jacob Beaver, Kaitlyn Beaver and Holden Grace Riska; and her siblings, Jean Fletcher (Robert) and Steve Ward (Carol).
A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the McGill Baptist Church (5300 Poplar Tent Rd, Concord, NC 28027).
