He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Norman Leathers and Mary Poole Leathers; his brother Norman Leathers (Shirley Work); his stepdaughter Candee Davis; and his granddaughter Emily Leathers.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Holcomb Leathers; his daughters, Lisa Leathers, Carrie Duston (Darrin) and Shelley Allen (Scot); his stepson Dusty Dellinger (Vanessa); his sister-in-law Lillian Leathers Walker; his friend Fairy Ragan; and his pets, Gizmo, Izzy and Zeke. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren.
