He was predeceased by: his parents, Mack Coy Phillips and Irene Burrage Phillips; and his brothers, Larry C. Phillips and Richard Wayne Phillips. He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Linker Phillips; his children, Anne Swayney (Steven) of Concord and J. Michael Phillips; his grandchildren, Dylan Rutemiller, Elias Rutemiller (Amanda), Jamie Smyly (Chris) and Samantha Barlow (Tyler); and his sister Suzanne Jones (John) of Concord. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
