She was predeceased by: her parents, John Rogers and Aileen Kiker Barringer. She is survived by: her husband Melvin Duffell; her children, D. Mitchell Phillips of Charlotte, Phillip Ray Duffell of Salisbury and Melba Duffell McKinney of Concord; her grandchildren, Jasmine Meggison, Shawn Thurston and Cailey Duffell; her brothers, Ronnie Rogers (Gail) and Rick Rogers; and her siblings-in-law, Maria Hughes (Randy) and Tim Duffell (Trudy). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
