She is survived by: her husband Alberto; her children, Jose Amessa, Carmen Linkous (Mark) and Lolita Faulkenberry (John); her stepson Adrian Amessa (Vicky); and her grandchildren, Alice Almond (Bobby), Michelle Knick (Ryan), Jason Faulkenberry (Nicole), Vanessa Amessa, Christian Amessa (Nuria) and Amanda Forrest (Bo). She is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Carolina Memorial Park (601 Mt Olivet Rd, Concord, NC 28025).
