He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde William Church and Nora Belle Hylton Church; his former wife Janet Keaney Pastorik Church; and also Deborah Fisher Church. He is survived by: his wife Betsy Ann Goenner-Church; his sisters, Nora Lefler, Rometta Buckhoven and Shirley Sutton; his daughters, Patrice Blanner (Chuck), Alise Pastorik, Charise Pastorik (Ron Marsilio) and Melissa Hysong (Jason); his stepchildren, Laurie Palasz (Miles) and Christopher Goenner (Melisha); his grandchildren, Jessica (Shawn), Adam, Gage, Jason, Carleigh Rose, Devin (Taylor), Brenton, Madisen, Peyton, Kailyn and Mildred; and his great grandchildren, Lila, Brynlee and Isabelle. He is also survived by loving nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Poplar Tent Presbyterian Church (6841 Poplar Tent Rd, Concord, NC 28027). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Poplar Tent Presbyterian Church-Concord (6841 Poplar Tent Rd, Concord, NC 28027).
