He is survived by: his wife Donna Proffitt Moore; his children, Curtis Alexander Moore, Chasity Smith (Jared Smith) and Darrell Ray Moore Jr. "D. J." (Krystal Moore); his grandchildren, Kaydence, Skylar, Bentley and Colton; and his siblings, Wayne Moore, Carol Byard (Jon Byard) and Linda "Lucy" Moore.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Family's Home.
