He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Joseph Holding and Margaret Hawkins Holding; his son Carter Holding (Katherine); his wife Gail Stephens Holding; his son John B. Holding (Leigh Ann); and his nieces and nephews, Lee Holding Dunlap, Margaret Holding, Pace Holding, Patman Holding and Langston Holding.
