As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Deng may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Khanh Phengdara and Tham Phengdara. He is survived by: his wife Bounsou Phengdara of Concord, NC; his children, Sengchanh Park of Charlotte, NC and Bouthanh Phengdara; and his grandchildren, Sophia Park, Adrian Park and Analy Phonephakdy. He is also survived by numerous extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Calendar Hartsell Funeral Home of Midland (13575 Broadway Ave, Midland, NC 28107). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
