Donald E. Hopkins Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on July 31, 2025, Donald E. Hopkins of Concord, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Vera Lee Little Hopkins and William Leonard Hopkins; his wife Gay Dawn Thomas Hopkins; and his siblings, Nancy Long and Mickey Hopkins.
He is survived by: his daughter Myra Hopkins Redding of Concord; his sister Joan Billow; his siblings-in-law, Peggy Hopkins and Jim Long; his granddaughters, Meredith Pack (Joseph) and Mallory Winstead (Joel); and his great grandchildren, Everett, Emma, Charlie, Lucy Winstead, Phoebe and Ezra Pack. He is also survived by nephews and nieces.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Epworth United Methodist Church, 1030 Burrage Rd. NE, Concord NC 28025, where Don lived out his faith through action.
