She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey Dermont Smith and Mary Alice Byerly Smith; her daughter Mary Jac Williams; her brother-in-law Ralph Milam; her sibling's children, Greg Milam and Byerlyn Milam; and her pet Maggie.
She is survived by: her sister Toby Milam; her daughter Dede Wishon (Dennis); her grandchildren, Bryan Folds (Katie), Sarah Wishon, Chase Bryant (Kelly) and Josh Williams (Krista); her great grandchildren, Sutton Folds, Levi, Kolten Bryant, Bryleigh and Walt Williams; her sibling's children, Jeff Milam, Eric Milam (Sam) and Angie Holt (Carlyle); and her great-niece Emma Holt.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to her church Westford United Methodist, Cabarrus Humane Society or VIA Health Partners (Hospice Care).
