She was predeceased by: her parents, Sarah Byron Rawlingson and Frederick Rawlingson; and her husband Carlton M. Devore. She is survived by: her daughters, Teresa Padgett (Scott) of Concord and Sheree Houston (Joe) of Kure Beach; her grandsons, Joel Padgett and Blake Rawlingson Houston (Brittney); and her great grandchildren, Jonas Padgett, Jake Padgett, Jace Padgett and Beckham Rawlingson Houston.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, November 4th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the First Presbyterian Church (70 Union St N, Concord, NC 28025). Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 4th 2026 from 2:45 PM to 3:45 PM at the same location.
