She was predeceased by: her parents, James Lawson Carter and Edna Elizabeth Carter; her husbands, Clarence E. Foster Sr. and Ralph B. Haynes; her daughter Vanessa Barnhardt; and her brother Ted Carter.
She is survived by: her children, Ed Foster of Concord, NC. and Ann Foster Scott; and her siblings, Margaret Neal, Merita Lefler and Coy Carter. She is also survived by Six grandkids, 8 great grandchildren.
