She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Mitchell and Catherine Mason; and her husband Robert Chertok (Bob). She is survived by: her daughters, Ellen Brooks (Jimmy) of Denver, NC, Linda McCrimmon (Tom) of Mt. Pleasant, NC and Laura Tolbert (Rick) of Concord, NC; her grandchildren, John Redford (Megan), Tommy McCrimmon (Kaylee Ritz), Christina McCrimmon and Annalee Tolbert; her great grandchildren, Smith and Archie Redford; and her sisters, Nejla Abdon and Arlene Johnston.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 22nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Mt. Hermon Lutheran Church (3600 US-601, Concord, NC 28025). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 22nd 2025 from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Sunday, June 22nd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:10 PM at the Mt. Hermon Lutheran Church Cemetery (3600 US-601, Concord, NC 28025).
