He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Francis Shepherd Shanks; his sons, Jeffrey Shanks and Jason Shanks; his siblings, Patricia Lee, Janet Morgan and Larry Shanks; and his grandchildren, Chloe Shanks, Michael Shanks, Haley Shanks and Holly Shanks.
