We are sad to announce that on December 4, 2020, at the age of 63, Edith Garland of Concord, North Carolina, born in Cleveland, North Carolina passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Edith Garland to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Greene and Betty Barber Greene; and her siblings, Doreen Fralick and Roger Greene. She is survived by: her sons, James Clifford Owens, III (Cassie) and John Owens (Debra); her siblings, Phyllis Wells (James), Shelia Lee (Danny) and Joseph Greene (Annie); her grandchildren, Addyson Owens, Cali Owens, Chloe Gibson, Kaelye Owens, Christian Duran, Landon Jones, Braylen Sparks and Jaylan Jones; and her friend Dean. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

For 19 years of knowing her she has been a true friend of limitless caring and kindness for all. I consider myself fortunate that she enjoyed and wanted to visit me at the beach often.....those were the best times. Her visits will be missed as she will be missed and loved forever.”
