He is survived by: his wife Mary Allman Helms of Concord; his son Eddie Helms (Nisa); his brothers, Ernest Helms (Becky) of Concord, Bob Helms (Brenda) of Concord and Elmer Helms (Alice) of Concord; his grandson Clint (Sara); and his great grandchildren, Jack and Macon Helms.
