We are sad to announce that on October 10, 2025, at the age of 57, Emily Stanton of Concord, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Emily may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Emily touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her mother Mary Lee Roether. She is survived by: her father Alfred Zahler; her children, Haley Stanton, Rebecca Stanton and Connor Stanton; her sister Mercedes Hughes; and her grandson Christopher.
