She was predeceased by: her father Latta Legrand; and her sister Cathryn Kennedy. She is survived by: her sister Helene Linenberger (Lindy); her daughters, Sheila P. Jones (Mike) and Susan P. King; and her grandchildren, Matthew King (Jamie), Charlotte K. Blais (Brian), Savannah K. Royal (Shane), Adam Brown and Emily B. Meeks (Stuart). She is also survived by five great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to be sent to Hospice and Palliative Care of Cabarrus County, 5003 Hospice Lane, Kannapolis, NC 28081, or to the Youth Fund of Forest Hill United Methodist Church, 265 Union Street N, Concord, NC.
