She is survived by: her children, Fredrick Duran Patton of Mooresville and Sylvia Denise Patton of Concord; her granddaughter Fannie Elizabeth Spears; her great grandchild Javin Lamarr Smoutherson; her sisters, Francis Murray, Betty Douglas, Gillette Johnson (Elder Johnny Mac) and Lena Cochran (Larry); her brother-in-law Ronnie Coleman; her extended family, Jason, Azalea and Anesia Howie; and her friends, Priscilla Green, Gracie Byers, Jean White, Carolyn Bost, Earlene Bost and Ruth Brooks. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and dear friends.
