She was predeceased by: her parents, James Alexander and Edna Mae Caperton French; her son John A. Ball III; her daughter-in-law Melissa Simmons Ball; her granddaughter Allyson Ball; and her brother Charles Donald "Don" French.
She is survived by: her daughter Kimberly Susan Williams (Jeff) of Harrisburg, NC; and her grandsons, John Ball IV (Victoria), Zachary Ball (Drai Salmon) and Noah Williams.
