She was predeceased by: her parents, William J. Barry and Sarah T. Barry; her husband Thomas Hirsch; her brother William J. Barry, Jr.; her grandson Fred Hirsch; and her great grandchild Bryant Pietrusza.
She is survived by: her children, Barbara H. Malkin of Midland, NC, Thomas J. Hirsch (Suzanne) of Chesapeake, VA, Patricia A. Butco (Joseph) of Kannapolis, NC, John W. Hirsch (Jacqueline) of Tampa, FL, Eileen H. Moffatt (Kirk) of Glen Burnie, MD and Kevin J. Hirsch (Cheryl) of Punta Gorda, FL.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 11th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. James the Greater Catholic Church (139 Manor Ave SW, Concord, NC 28025). A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the National Veterans' Cemetery.
