It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frances Martisha Collins of Concord, North Carolina, who passed away on January 26, 2026, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Marion Mark Strother Sr. and Mary Brown Strother; and her brothers, Billy Harris Strother and Marion M. Strother Jr.. She is survived by: her husband James "Buddy" Collins; her sons, Greg Collins (Cindy) of Concord and Chris Collins of Concord; her brother Tom Strother (Pam) of China Grove; and her grandchildren, Aryn Collins, Mauri Collins of Kailyn, Collins Wallace (Carrigan), Breslin Collins Asmar (Daniel), Joshua Collins, Jordan Holt, Christopher Collins and Hannah Collins. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
