He was predeceased by: his mother Edna Julia Stirewalt Rankin. He is survived by: his father Frank Alexander; his family Patricia Harris Rankin; his children, Frank A. "Alex" Rankin, III (Sharon) and Anne Harris Rankin; and his grandson Frank Alexander Rankin, IV. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.
