He was predeceased by: his siblings, Gary D. Melton and Frances Edwards; his parents, Joe Melton and Inez Melton; his daughter Lori Ann Melton; and his granddaughter Sarah Elizabeth Melton.
He is survived by: his wife Patsy; his children, Frankie J. Melton, Jr. (Amy), Amy Lynn Mackey (Randy) and Gary L. Melton (Kristi); his grandchildren, Kaylee Faith Twitty, Brooke Grace Twitty, Lydia Catherine Melton, Noah Franklin Melton, Mary Elizabeth Melton and Anna Caroline Melton; and his siblings, Gail Eason, Kathy Laney, Shirley Sanders and Lisa Terry. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
