He is survived by: his parents, Horace Stainback, Jr. and Patricia Ozavize Adeleke Stainback of Concord; his wife Teonna Franisha Stainback of Concord; his siblings, Nathanael Alexander Adeleke Stainback (Jasmine), Prince Katherine Adeleke Stainback and Mahalia Olufunmilola Adeleke Stainback; his grandmother Catherine Abosede Adeleke; his aunts and uncles, Alice, Ella Stainback, Peter Olayinka Adeleke (Joyce) and Paul Babatunde Adeleke (Ade); his mother-in-law Tonia Redd; his siblings-in-law, Jasmine Redd Pollock (Rayshone), Gabrielle Redd (Eric Fulton) and Tony Allen; his mother-in-law Norlyque Redd (Derrick); and his pet King Elijah Stainback. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Hartsell Funeral Home - Concord (460 Branchview Dr NE, Concord, NC 28025). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Bethel Baptist Church (2474 Dale Earnhardt Blvd, Kannapolis, NC 28083). Over the course of his career, he was crowned a three-time Big South Decathlon Champion from 2018-2021 (*2020 did not have a Championship due to Covid-19) and was named to the All-Conference team seven times.
