He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Tom Drinnen and Fern Drinnen; his wife Billie Shealy; his brother Dr. Tom Drinnen; his half-brother Jimmy Bittle; and his friend Walt Burr.
He is survived by: his brother Dr. Dan Drinnen (Sue); his sisters-in-law, Anita Drinnen and Sharon Bittle; his nieces and nephews, Susan, Tommy, Vickie, Valerie, Danny, Missy, Lane, Matt, Sean and Lindsey; his cousin Becky Cooper Shaffer; his friend Gordon Thomas; and his children, Betsy Biggers, Ben Burr, Gary and Billie.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to Rocky River Presbyterian Church, 7940 Rocky River Road, Concord, NC 28027.
