He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Brandon and Edith Hagler Long; his wife Debra Deaton Long; and his grandson Dylan Wayne Livengood. He is survived by: his daughters, Tricia A. Dixon and Lisa D. Pope of Kannapolis; and his siblings, Larry Long of Myrtle Beach, S. C. and Dianne Ayscue (Don) of Concord. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
