It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gene Furr (Concord, North Carolina), who passed away on August 4, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn Edward Furr and Margaret Cochran Furr. He is survived by: his daughter Mitzi Furr; his grandchild DJ Orgeron of Concord; his sisters, Geneva Lefler of Concord and Betty Lefler (Larry) of Hamptonville, NC; and his pets, Herbie Gene and Pee Wee.

Memorials may be made to the Roberta UMC Multimedia Fund, or to the Music Fund, 3925 Cochran Rd. Concord, NC 28027, or to Hospice & Palliative Care of Cabarrus County, 5003 Hospice Ln., Kannapolis, NC 28081.
